This watercolor is the latest asset of Athos art I have in my own home. This piece of art is made by Dutch artist, Jan W. Bultje, probably made in 70 or 80-ties. This modern artwork with large surfaces in grey, white and black, combined with green and blue colors, probably shows Gregoriou monastery.

This piece of art is made by J. Barrie Haste and has the title “Greece”. It is probably a drawing and it shows Esfigmenou monastery.

A painting of monks in a trapeza, made by Armeno Mattioli (1920-2010) in 2004. In post 1275 you can see that he made more artworks during his visits to Athos.
A Greek artist called Polykleitos Rengos painted the arsanas of Simonospetras 2018:
In 1922 the Greek artist Kogevinas Lykourgos (1887 – 1940) made 11 etchings of Athos, here to be seen in a slideshow.
In 1985 the Greek artist Moschos Georgios (1906 – 1990) made 21 woodcuts of different locations on Athos.
Another greek artist, Alecos Kondopoulos (1904-1975), made these two pieces of art of skiti Andreou in 1954:

and a painting of arsanas Iviron (from a stone wall that in reality does not exsist on that spot!).
In this last slideshow you can see the art of the Greek artist Spyros Papaloukas (1892-1957), sold at auction at Bonhams. The nine paintings are from: 1. Karyes 1923, 2. Iviron, 3. Karakallou, 4. Karyes Iberian monastery cells, 5. Lavra, 6. Lavra, 7. unknown monastery, 8. skete of the Three Hierarchs and the Holy Trinity 1923 and 9. views of Athos.
This very dark painting is made by Vassilis Magiassis (1880-1926), called “Praying at Mount Athos”
Vittorio Amadeo, ‘the 5th Count Preziosi’, painted an Albanian, inscribed ‘Mount Athos’. This painting of an ‘Efzone’ is dated 12 October 1850.
